A workshop was held on the topic - Towards an EU Roadmap for Hydrogen Valleys - Regional Actors and their Role: doubling the number of valleys by 2025 and construction skills.

For the workshop which was organized in Brussels by the Partnership for Clean Hydrogen, the Partnership for European Hydrogen Valleys and the North Holland region are available presentations

The purpose of this two-day workshop was to exchange information between regional and local actors about current opportunities and challenges in the introduction and increase of hydrogen valleys in Europe.

Presentations on the first day of the workshop included the state of H2 valleys in Europe – and worldwide, an overview of the European partnership for H2 valleys, as well as several technical topics such as successfully engaging public and private stakeholders, creating and managing project consortia and securing public financial support.

The second day was focused on knowledge transfer, citizen empowerment and skill building for the hydrogen economy - in the context of the development of new hydrogen valleys. Also. Case studies of capacity building in Central and Eastern European countries were discussed.
