In the premises of the Representation of Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem in Brussels, an exhibition of paintings titled "Wind from the Plain" was opened.

All interested visitors will be able to view the exhibition with prior notice.

Through the organization of the exhibition of paintings, the cultural riches of Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem, as well as the beauty of the landscape, were presented to a wider audience in Brussels, and the exhibition presented only a small part of these treasures and the landscape of our region.

Art works by artists from Virovitica, Požega, Slavonski Brod and Vinkovci are exhibited at the exhibition.

This is the first exhibition that has been held so far in the premises of the Representative Office, and the wish and intention is that the holding of art exhibitions at the SBS Representative Office will become a tradition, and that this exhibition will be the first of many that will only be held in the future.

The exhibition was visited by colleagues and associates from EU institutions and other regional representations, as well as representatives of regional and local self-government. Among the most prominent guests of the exhibition, the prefects Igor Andrović, Danijel Marušić and Nikola Dobroslavić, the mayor Željko Turk, and members of the EU parliament Sokol, Ressler and member Glavak attended the exhibition.

For help in organizing the exhibition in question - thanks to the counties, members of the SBS Representative Office, for their good cooperation and support in the organization of this exhibition, as well as colleagues from the Public Institution of the County Development Agency of Osijek-Baranja County.
