European Innovation Ecosystems (EIE) Work Programme falls under the Third Pillar of Horizon Europe Programme. It will support the implementation of actions under the New European Innovation Agenda contributing to all flagships and most importantly to the dedicated flagships on:

• Enabling deep tech innovation through experimentation spaces and public procurement
• Accelerating and strengthening innovation in European Innovation Ecosystems across the EU and addressing the innovation divide

The European Commission launched complementary calls for proposals on 17 May 2023 under the European Innovation Ecosystems part of Horizon Europe and also the Interregional Innovation Investments Instrument with the purpose of supporting Regional Innovation Valleys (RIVs).
