The decade of European membership for the Republic of Croatia was a decade of accelerated development, growth and closer integration. 

The formal reception, organized by MEP Karlo Ressler, was held in the Yehudi Menuhin space of the European Parliament, decorated with an exhibition of photographs of the most beautiful parts of Croatia and prominent moments of Croatian history on the occasion of marking 10 years of full membership of the Republic of Croatia in the European Union. 

The reception was attended by high-ranking guests, along with Parliament President Roberta Metsola, Vice President of the European Commission Dubravka Šuica, Minister Nikolina Brnjac and President of the European People's Party in the European Parliament Manfred Weber. 

On this occasion, Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem also showed a strong presence in Brussels through the attendance of the prefect of the Požega-Slavonia County Antonija Jozić, the prefect of the Virovitica-Podravina County Igor Andrović, the deputy prefect of the Osijek-Baranja County Josip Miletić and the head of the Representative Office Renata Taušan.
