The European Committee of the Regions (CoR), in cooperation with the members of the European Citizens' Cross-Border Alliance, is launching public consultations on the future of cross-border cooperation.

The results of these consultations will serve as the basis for a Resolution on the future of cross-border cooperation by 2050, which will serve as an official contribution to the Conference on the Future of Europe.
The resolution will set out specific goals that should be implemented by 2050.

The consultations are now open in English, and other EU languages ​​will be added in the same format over the next two weeks. The consultations will remain open until March 14, 2021.

Join the European Citizens' Union in cross-border areas!

We invite all interested citizens living in border regions, as well as all citizens interested in the subject, to join the Alliance and sign the declaration, which is available in all official EU languages.

We also invite cross-border structures, such as the European Groupings of Territorial Cooperation and Euroregions, as well as local and regional authorities, non-governmental organizations and businesses, to join the Alliance and participate in our work on the future of cross-border cooperation.
