REACT-EU: € 530 million for Croatia to support jobseekers and workers in sectors particularly affected by the pandemic.

Additional funds complement the three operational programs of the European Social Fund (ESF) under the REACT-EU program. In Croatia, for the ESF operational program "Effective human resources 2014-2020." allocate an additional 530 million euros to preserve jobs during the coronavirus pandemic and after two major earthquakes in 2020, which had a serious impact on the Croatian economy. Measures are aimed at supporting the resilience of the labor market, employment, SMEs and low-income families, as well as building a sustainable foundation for green and digital transition and a sustainable socio-economic recovery.
