The aim of the call is to encourage the public as well as the private sector to offer new opportunities through the introduction of new technologies or solutions, in particular innovation and supplier projects funded under the EIC.

Moreover, the procurement of innovation enables the provision of better and more efficient public services in situations where we face societal challenges such as climate change, a pandemic crisis or the sustainable management of natural resources.

The next goal of this call is to encourage an increase in demand at the European level, ie to stimulate the European market in order to ensure the discovery of the first potential and large customers with innovative technologies.
The general idea is to support public and private individuals in better defining their innovation needs and their procurement and greater engagement towards suppliers of innovative solutions, especially towards the EIC community of highly innovative companies.

Supported activities:
Activity 1: Improved judgment of customer challenges and needs (private and public sector) in relation to solutions they buy for their customers, citizens, customers, clients or employees.
Activity 2: Improved source of information and consultation with market stakeholders and innovators before drawing up tenders.
Activity 3: Encouraging joint preparation of pilot projects and test solutions
Activity 4: Support for project task development.
