In relation to the publication of the 2020 calls for proposals for grants for information provision and promotion measures concerning agricultural products, Chafea organised an info day for potential applicants.
Similar to past info days, speakers from the European Commission and Chafea have presented the Annual Work Programme 2020 as well as the calls. The info day was also feature a de-briefing on the own initiatives of the European Commission.
This year, the beneficiaries of promotion funding take a prominent role and share their experience with setting up and implementing promotion programmes. The participants also had the opportunity to listen to presentation by external experts and applicants on the challenging aspects of proposal preparation, such as market analysis and demonstrating the impact of projects.
The event included a match-making session aiming to bring together potential applicants looking for partners in view of submitting joint applications for funding.

County prefect Igor Andrović and the delegation of the Virovitica-Podravina county, which included deputy county prefect Mario Klement, mayor of Pitomača municipality, Željko Grgačić, Svetlana Bastalić the „Most Outstanding Croatian Rural Woman, visited the joint office of five Slavonian counties in Bruxelles – Representative office of Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem in Bruxelles, where they held a working meeting with the head of the office Toni Žufić.
